History and Implementation
The Quality and Environmental Management of Chemie Wocklum is accorded great importance.
To underline this high rating we underwent a stringent certification process according to the ISO Standards 9001/14001 and to the Specialist Waste Disposal Business Act. All certificates were granted in 1998.
Starting February 1999 Chemie Wocklum takes part in the global Initiative Responsible Care of the German Association of Chemical Wholesalers (Verband Chemiehandel e.V, VCH). This initiative aims at responsible conduct beyond just complying with the laws.
The company also underwent successfully this auditing and certification process.
All mentioned quality, environmental and waste management systems are integrated in a Management System which was audited and certified in continuous sequence.
In 2004 Chemie Wocklum participated in the Project Ökoprofit organized by the district government Märkischer Kreis. The goal of this initiative is to further improve environmental protection and simultaneously reducing costs.
Starting 2004 the Management System and the Documentation was streamlined with the aim of a higher user-friendliness and user-acceptance.
The efficiency of the Management System was further improved.
In 2009 Chemie Wocklum had decided to implement a HACCP-Concept for the trading, transport and storing of products for the food, feedstuff, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
This concept was successfully certified according to ISO Standard 22000.
